Itinerary

Arrival Day (May 25th)

Your driver and tour guide will be holding a sign that says “Pickleball Getaways”! If you cannot find them, contact your Trip Coordinator.

Get settled in, explore the resort, and rest up from jet lag!

Welcome dinner at the Dolce Campo Real

The rest of the day is yours! Here are some things you could do:

  • Keep playing pickleball!

  • Relax and enjoy the resort’s amenities. There is a gym, indoor pool, outdoor pool, spa, restaurant, and more.

  • Taxi to Lisbon to explore.

We recommend taxiing into Torres Vedras for dinner in the evening – and invite other guests along if you’d like! You also could get dinner at the resort, if you prefer. Torres Vedras is ~15 minutes away and has several great restaurant options, including Taberno Napoleao, Pateo do Faustino, Midi, and Adega do Santos. These restaurants open around 6:30pm-7:30pm – their exact hours are online – and they will likely get crowded a little later in the evening. Here are a few great Portuguese dishes to try: charcuterie appetizers, octopus, sea bass, bull tail, black pork, and cod.

There will be two hours of free time for you to eat lunch wherever you choose – there will be plenty of restaurant options! We will also have a tasting of the famous Pastel de Natal, a delicious Portuguese pastry. We will return to the Dolce Campo Real in the evening.
